I've coached for several years, working with boys’ and girls’ teams from U7 to U19. For me, this role has never been about a paycheck or the scoreboard. It is entirely about giving back to the community for a sport that I love.
The true reward is found in the development process itself. There is nothing more fulfilling than teaching a specific skill and witnessing that "ah-ha" moment—when a player finally connects the dots, understands the mechanics, and successfully executes the objective on their own. That transformation is exactly why I choose to volunteer my time to coach.
